Head of Product & Business [Apply now]

  • Location: Portugal (remote/hybrid) | Type: Full-time

About

At CloudCockpit, we are on a mission to be the leading platform for simple and risk-free Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) commerce & business management. We empower Microsoft partners with a transformative cloud commerce marketplace that eliminates operational complexity and mitigates business risks. Founded by Create IT in 2016, today we serve over 1,000 Microsoft partners, managing nearly €200M in cloud business, and directly impacting the operations of more than 50,000 companies worldwide.

Why This Role is Different

CloudCockpit runs lean and ownership matters more than hierarchy. As Head of Product & Business, you report directly to the leadership team and take full responsibility for the evolution of the product and the business: direction, priorities, market positioning, and customer value creation. High strategic exposure from day one. You make the calls. You challenge assumptions. You own the outcomes.

This is not a role where execution disappears into layers of management. Your decisions shape the product. Your work influences the company's direction. Direct report to leadership. Strategic influence. Full ownership.

What you’ll do

  • Ensure that the product serves the market and customers by defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for CloudCockpit;
  • Manage the product backlog with clear priorities aligned with the business;
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into scalable solutions;
  • Work directly with stakeholders (internal and external) to understand user needs and market opportunities;
  • Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement;
  • Ensure a strong user-centric approach across all product initiatives;
  • Align product development with go-to-market strategies and business objectives;
  • Ensure an intuitive, efficient experience (UX) aligned with user needs.

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in SaaS products, Cloud, or B2B technology platforms;
  • A proven ability to define and drive product strategy, influence stakeholders, and communicate vision across leadership and teams;
  • Proven experience in defining, developing, and delivering digital products in agile environments;
  • Proven experience within the Microsoft ecosystem is a mandatory requirement;
  • Specific experience in Microsoft CSP, Azure, Microsoft Partner Network, and their respective reseller business models is highly valued;
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in the development of technology products;
  • Experience with B2B products and cloud ecosystems will be considered an asset;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP);
  • Familiarity with DevOps, APIs, and modern software architectures;
  • Experience with product discovery techniques, user research, and validation;
  • Strong ability to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation;
  • Data-driven mindset, with experience using product metrics and analytics tools;
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and user-centered design.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Strong product mindset, with a focus on delivering customer value;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into a clear product direction;
  • Collaborative approach and experience working in cross-functional teams;
  • Proactive, results-driven attitude with a strong sense of ownership;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to make pragmatic decisions, balancing user value, business impact, and technical constraints.
