1. CSP Program Guide Update
Effective April 27, 2025
Introduction:
- Microsoft has revised the CSP Program Guide to ensure alignment with evolving cloud delivery models and partner roles.
Resume:
- A new version of the CSP Program Guide was released on March 27, 2025. It becomes effective automatically for all existing partners on April 27, 2025.
What's happening:
- The Guide to Online Services and Software Channel Authorization (CSP Program Guide) has been updated.
- The update reflects structural, procedural, and compliance-related refinements.
Who is affected: All CSP partners globally.
Action Required:
- Review the updated guide by April 27, 2025.
- No additional action is required unless legal clarification is needed.
2. Microsoft Partner Agreement (MPA) Update
Effective October 4, 2025
Introduction:
- Microsoft is enhancing the Partner Agreement to reinforce compliance, data privacy, and ethical practices.
Resume:
- The updated MPA becomes effective October 4, 2025. It auto-applies to existing partners with no action required.
What's happening:
- Updates cover improved commitments to privacy, security, and transparency.
- Terms apply automatically—no signature needed.
Who is affected:
- All partners operating under the Microsoft Partner Agreement.
Action Required:
- Review the updated MPA via Partner Center.
- Engage your legal team to assess implications.
3. March NCE Price List Republished with 5% Monthly Billing Increase
Introduction:
- Microsoft has republished the March NCE preview to correct and clarify April price changes.
Resume:
- Monthly billing plans for triennial subscriptions will increase by 5% from April 1, 2025.
What's happening:
- Preview now includes the 5% price hike for triennial monthly plans.
- Teams Phone, Power BI Pro/Premium pricing is also increasing.

- All CSP partners (direct and indirect) offering NCE subscriptions.

4. End-of-Sale (EOS) Billing Frequency Scheduling Now Available
Introduction:
- Microsoft introduces EOS billing flexibility to help partners manage renewals better.
Resume:
- As of March 10, 2025, billing frequency changes for EOS offers can be scheduled pre-renewal.
What's happening:
- EOS customers can change from monthly to annual billing at renewal.
- Applies to Microsoft 365/Office 365 E suites with Teams.
Who is affected:
- CSP direct and indirect partners with EOS customers.
Action Required:
- Leverage the API or UI to schedule billing changes.
- Review EOS price lists and plan transitions.
5. Billing API v1 Retirement
Introduction:
- Microsoft is retiring older billing APIs to improve scalability and performance.
Resume:
- V1 reconciliation APIs stop working on April 21, 2025. Migration to V2 APIs is mandatory.

- Four V1 APIs will be disabled.
